Pratique d’ActionScript 3 – Ported to haXe [ by Thibault Imbert ]

Do you know haXe ? It seems like a lot of people know about it but never tried it really, well to be honest that's my case. :(

A few months ago, the haXe team told me they would be interested into porting the open-source version of Pratique d'ActionScript 3 to haXe. I really think it can be a great way to help people discover the power of this programming language.

The project should be finished this summer, and I am really excited about it. Maybe this initiative will also help the book being translated in other languages, I will let you know here when it's ready and available for download ;)

    I find the story of your book really instructive regarding the number of opportunities that may open to you when writing a book with a free license.

    I’m one of those that have tried Haxe. :)

    That is also my case, haxe and haxe video seem to be really great deal but i never tried it out. Porting your awesome book would be a good way for me to be involved in some development, and since i am french, c’est la classe internationale :)

    mais j’avais deux petites questions… j’ai acheté mon exemplaire en magasin, ellipse, genève et je me demandai s’il était possible d’avoir la version pdf aussi de cette manière là…
    et sinon je ne trouve pas les codes sources sur le site pearson.fr…
