For those of you guys who may have missed some of the Stage3D (Molehill) sessions at Max, I gathered a few of them below.

    As a blog with one of the highest Google hits for using game controllers / gamepads with Flash I’m wondering what is the deal with GameInputDevice? I haven’t seen anyone cover it. Does Flash 11 support this? Is there a Flex SDK I can grab that has this defined? (Almost no information beyond )

    Sorry, to answer my own question. The new Flash SDK does support really high resolution bitmaps, its just not capable of loading extremely large jpegs. You may load 2 6000×1024 pixel jpeg and sew them together in one large BitmapData

    Enhanced bitmap size support is version checked and will be enabled only if you use swf version 13.

    Enhanced bitmap size support is working for me now. But like I was saying, the Loader doesn’t seem to react well to loading large jpgs, even if it doesn’t throw an error. But I can load two 8000x2000px jpgs and put them together on a 16000x2000px BitmapData and it works fine.

    I have attempted this with both AIR sdk 3.0 in Flash Professional CS5.5 and Flex sdk 4.6 in Flash Builder 4.6

Went to do some stage3d testing with great hopes, as some of it was demonstrated on a tablet…but nothing is displayed, black screen! Do you by any chance know why/when would we be getting stage3d there? Seriously considering switching to Corona/Unity/Others as I have some games on the pipe to deploy before end of year…And no serious indication about why some have access rather than others….
